The Bohol Vacation Day 3

Day 3! weee! This was our dolphin/whale watching and snorkeling day!!!

We started out really early coz 6am ang pick up samen. wala ng bfast bfast; pinapack na namin (sayang nga gusto ko pa naman ng coffee)

Ang kagandahan ng Bee Farm being on the cliff side is hat straight to the boat kame from the dock! sushal!!!

(view from the farm going down to the dock)

(the dock)

Ang ganda ganda ng dagat sa bukangliwayway (naks)! as in...

Mejo matagal ang biyahe from Panglao to Pamilacan area where we're supposed to see the dolphins. At mejo matagal din sila bago magpakita!

When finally nakita na namin sila, walang dolphin BUT meron 4 na whales!!!

Watch the videos:

(wait for 0:50 to see more of the whale)

That is more RARE daw so happy happy. But I still wanted to see the dolphins...

(check 0:36)

At later on e mejo nahlo ako sa ginawa naming pagkain.

(ang baklang may balat sa pwet)

So borlog ako habang hinihila kame.

Wala kaming underwater cam (sayang talaga!) kaya no snorkeling pix. Pero pakshet! ang ganda ganda! sobrang worth it malunod for the sheer ganda of seeing the fishes and the marine chuva...

Pareho kase kaming di marunong lumangoy ni Christian. Kaya naka life vest kame. una akong lumusong...

Kaines... I was struggling with the mask for the most part of the endeavor. nakakainis lang... OK sana yung experience...

On the way back, inulan na naman kame pabalik which was the most horrible experience in the whole trip.

Dinner ulit kame this time sa cliffside with an amazing view of the sumset. Surprisingly hindi malamok sa place!!!

(honey-cured ribs)

(cheesy camote)

(and i think this is their own ham)

And that's the most part of the vacay... last hurrah of cam whoring for the last day...

The Bohol Vacation Day 2

This was such a jam-packed day. There was a lot to accomplish in just half a day! Here's the iti:

1. Blood compact site (simple monument with a nice view, daming Koreano! ganda ng view)

2. Baclayon Church (2nd oldest church in the Phils., sayang bawal mag picture sa loob ng Church Museum. The facade looks shitty, though, sad)

3. Tarsiers (they are so freaky and cute at the same time!!! maliksi sila sa kakahuyan mabaho nga lang. hehe)

4. Chocolate Hills (amazing view! made me wish I have a DSLR. nakakinis lang ang daming tao at inulan kame)

6. Clarin Ancestral House (Amazing place, kinda creepy and the house guide was shitty)

7. Loboc River Cruise (The food was not THAT good. I;ve definitely tasted better. Th whole experience would've been totally improved by the food. Kainez umuulan that time so it was really cloudy)

That was also our pasalubong buying day after the tour (sana mas malaki ang dala kong budget).

We felt like we missed the Butterfly farm/sanctuary and another sitem a cave or something. But it's generally fine and it was suhc a pleasure to have been in those places...

Mejo nakakapagod siya so instead of doing the farm tour we just "rested" for the rest of the day till dinner time. :D

We had seafood pasta, which was really delish!

There's more amazing photos from our 3rd day

The Bohol Vacation Day 1

Finality!!! ito na sila!!!

We had a 4 days, 3 nights vacation in Bohol complete with a full itinerary.

There's nothing planned for the 1st day so we basically just "rested" and "slept" most of the day... (hihihihi)

We stayed at the Bohol Bee Farm which is a REALLY unique and amazing place.

It's in the Dauis side of Panglao Island. And it's like in the middle of nowhere (not sure about this, but really feels like it). When we got there, the person in charge immediately hit us with the bad news: the Barn Room we booked is not available coz they are currently having some renovations.... the upside is we were upgraded to the Banana Room! wee! (isn't it funny that a gay couple should be staying in a cottage called "The Banana"? wala lang hihihi)

GRABE!!! ang ganda ng pinagstayan namin, it's like a cottage/bahay kubo which has that countryside feel but has been tweaked to make it look modern and more welcoming and warm. check out the pics!

Mejo "nagkatamaran" kami so we just stayed indoors instead of the plan to have a tour of the Farm (yes, may tour ang farm!!!).

The farm has 2 restaurants: The Cave (or pool-side) and the Cliff. Since it's a nice sunny day, we decided to check out the cliff... coming from the receiving area, it's a way down towards, well, the cliff going through some foliage (dramatic siya, gusto kong sumigaw ng "nakita ko na ang ada!")

Aaaaaand VAVOOM a spectacular view of the blue BLUE ocean and the endless sky. There's the cool breeze and the sound of water splashing on rocks while you eat... GRABE paradise!

And the FOOD! Grabe the FOOD. Bee Farm's website said all their food is organic and natural so dun pa lang benta na. When we checked the menu, parang 200 per meal! Na parang mahal na for us kse ideally mas mura sa probinsya and it's not as if we're staying in a starred hotel... Napakasarap ng honey-cured chicken nila! as in!

After lunch, bumaba kami sa cliffside and behold! may bleached wooden lounge/dock sa cliff-side! susyal. parang ang sarap manood ng sunset dun....

Bumalik lang kme sa Banana Room for "siesta". Pero later on in life, naintriga kame sa indoor pool/resto so may I boardshorts rampa kame. In fairness maganda ang concept nila ng Cave resto.... Like most of the stuff in the farm, it's very warm and whimsical. ang cute pati ng pool na 2 levels pa, ha! parang masarap lumangoy langoy dun sa tanghali habang nainom ng peanut butter-mango shake nila. haaay...

Vegetarian lasagna at salad, share kme....

At sa katakawan natapos ang unang araw...

Day 2 exciting na! Countryside tour!!!
